Her decision to return to Sweden was driven by her desire to be closer to her family.\r\n\r\nIronically, moving closer to her family resulted in her meeting and later marrying Charles Simonyi, a man that lived half way across the globe. Lisa and Charles now live in the Pacific Northwest where they have started their own family. The Simonyis have two daughters, Lilian and Livia.\r\n\r\nLisa has wholeheartedly adopted her new home with generous involvement in local organizations. She has served on the board of the Seattle Symphony and she is currently on the Animal Care Committee at the Woodland Park Zoo. She is also involved in fund raising efforts for Swedish Hospital.
